Built from the same base as lush interior, lush interior II is prominently a lavender/oud composition. The ethereal blue qualities were traded in for deeper earthen hues. In place of the smoke, there’s black ambergris and currant. In place of the frankincense delzielii there is patchouli and dark cocoa, and in place of the white kyara, there’s a cool, bitter Nha Trang powder. To top it off, a significant amount more musk and castoreum were added as well as a second incense accord that’s more “head shop” than kodo.
