The second installment of the JEMS series showcases a Thai oud that was traditionally distilled over firewood in the Trat forest. 6 grams of oud in each bottle. With a profile like no Thai I have ever experienced before (none of that new-gen, copper still, apricot-top-note, light as a feather stuff here) Firewood Trat oud has most in common with Assam, and Hindi-style Bangladesh distillations. Despite the massive quantity of oud in the composition, JEMS2 is more than just sprayable oud: The base is rich with leather and amber, and just enough florals, spices, and resins were added to compliment the composition.
